Because of potential waiting lists, we ask you to give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel to give us the opportunity to fill the space. Cancellations should be made through email or by phone. We will charge the class fee for reservations not cancelled 48 hours in advance but will be happy to transfer your class fee to another studio event if you contact us regarding your late cancellation. Spiritivity reserve the right to cancel any session if the minimum number of participants (4 painters) is not met.
We recommend coming 20 to 30 minutes early to get checked in, seated at your easel, grab something to drink and fill your palette with colorful paints.
Our classes are relaxed, social, group setting where a teacher artist will guide you through replicating the night’s featured painting step by step. Whether you are an aspiring Picasso or just looking to explore your creative side, you are sure to go home with a painting that is “you-niquely” yours. By the end of the evening you will be amazed at the artwork you have created! Classes are approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours with a short drying break in the middle of class.
Due to the difficulty of the paintings, the mature nature of our evening classes and the sale of alcoholic beverages, children are not permitted to attend. We do, however, offer family friendly events one or two Saturdays a month where all the visiable alcohol is covered and no alcohol is served. Please check our monthly calendars on our website and our Facebook to see which family friendly events are being hosted that particular month. In addition, private weekday or Saturday mornings events such as birthday parties, may be tailored specifically for children.
Visit our gallery page on our website to view our paintings. Since we are always creating new paintings, the best way to see an updated list is to check out our monthly calendar and Facebook page.
Yes, because of limited seating, signing up in advance is always recommended. You can register on the website or give us a call. If a class is sold out, please give us a call to be put you on our waiting list. Due to last minute cancellations, we can almost always accommodate you in the class.
Our Spiritivity studio classes are $35.00 per person and include all your painting supplies. The cost may vary when we offer special classes such as painting on wood shapes or hosting a tea event in the studio.
We provide canvases, paint, brushes, easels, aprons and fun!
We will provide aprons, but we recommend wearing something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on- just in case! Remember- we are using acrylic paints so be sure to leave nice jackets and purses at home. Spiritivity cannot be responsible for any paint damage.
A wonderful variety of beer, wine and champagne choices are available for purchase during your Spiritivity class. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available. Consumers shall be asked to show appropriate identification if they appear under the age of 30.
No. Contrary to what you have seen or been told, BYOB is illegal in the State of California. We are protecting our customers as well as our business.
It is best to eat before the studio event due to the “mess” made painting your canvas. If food is brought in to the studio, for instance a birthday cake, there must be enough to share with the entire class so that the whole class celebrates with you! The cake or treats may be served during our 15 minute dry break in the middle of class.
We do offer a lovely cheese platter that serves two from our local restaurant partner, A Touch of France, for $12.50. If you’d like to order a platter for your next class, send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
